STARTUGC™STARTUGC TRUST CENTER

StartUGC is built around clear scope, useful information and documented commercial terms.

This Trust Center explains how the Creator Network, opportunities, brand briefs, creator systems, rights guidance, research and support routes are intended to work.

Creator Network principles

  • Free creator entry. No product purchase is required to submit a Creator Network profile.
  • Fit before follower count. Campaign relevance can include market, language, category, creative style, production capability, availability and commercial scope.
  • Terms before production. Compensation, deliverables, usage, revisions, timing and logistics should be clear before creator work begins.
  • Separate products from eligibility. Buying a StartUGC product or Creator Gear does not determine campaign eligibility.

Brand campaign standards

Brands are asked to define the work before creators are recruited. A usable campaign brief should identify the objective, creator requirements, deliverables, compensation model, product logistics, deadlines, revision expectations and commercial usage.

Opportunity clarity

Creator opportunities should make the commercial structure understandable before participation. Depending on the campaign, that can include a fixed fee, product + fee, commission, hybrid compensation, gifting, reimbursement, affiliate terms or another agreed structure.

Paid advertising, creator-handle advertising, raw footage, exclusivity, extended usage, posting requirements and additional revisions should be identified as separate scope where relevant.

What profile review means

StartUGC may review submitted creator information for completeness and campaign usability. A submitted profile is not automatically the same as identity verification, performance certification or a completed brand engagement. When StartUGC introduces a specific verification badge or status, its meaning should be stated clearly.

Rights and commercial scope

Creation and usage are separate commercial questions. The StartUGC Lab, Quote & Usage Rights Calculator, creator systems and educational resources help creators and brands organize scope before a deal is confirmed.

Payments and agreements

Payment timing, method, reimbursement terms, commission attribution and other financial terms should be documented in each confirmed campaign or agreement. StartUGC will identify any future payment-protection or managed-payment feature by its actual scope rather than implying protection that is not provided.

Research and claims

StartUGC separates practical guidance from guarantees. Research-led pages should use authoritative or primary sources where practical, distinguish guidance from law or financial advice, and update material when platform rules or market conditions change.

Privacy and creator information

Creator and brand submissions should collect information that has a clear operating purpose. Public-facing creator information should be intentionally selected; private application details should not be presented as public profile data by default.
